About the Surgeon

Since pioneering the use of LASIK procedures early on in his career, Dr. Boothe has quickly become the busiest and most experienced refractive eye surgeon in the United States, as patients continue to flock to his center seeking clear vision. He was one of the first surgeons in the Dallas area to use the Excimer laser for refractive surgery once it was approved by the FDA.

A lifelong Texan, Dr. Boothe earned an undergraduate degree from Rice University and M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He then completed his residency at Texas Tech University School of Opthalmology. To date, Dr. Boothe has successfully performed more than 121,000 LASIK procedures and more than 83,000 INTRALASIK procedures.
